The International Credit Mobility of Individuals is a part of Activity 1 – Higher Education of the Erasmus+ Programme and aims to promote the mobility of individuals of higher education to and from partner countries.

The goals of International Credit Mobility of Individuals are:

  • to increase the appeal of higher education in Europe and support the higher education institutions to compete in the global market of higher education;
  • to support the priorities identified in the communications: “Increasing the Impact of EU Development Policy: An Agenda for Change” and “European Higher Education in the World”.
  • to support internationalisation, the appeal and the modernisation of the higher education institutions outside of Europe, which aims to promote the growth of the partner countries;
  • to promote the development of goals and principles of foreign policy that include social cohesion, fairness, geographical balance and diversity. Special attention will be paid to less developed countries, as well as to students with socioeconomic struggles or special needs.
